Information from the producer: A mid-early variety with red fruits and a spicy flavor (8,000 on the Scoville scale).Its fruit is perfect for preserves, for eating raw, and for drying.Highly recommended as a cooking spice.Sowing seeds in March on pallets under cover.Transplant seedlings at the one-pair-of-leaves stage into 7–8 cm pots or onto trays with 6 cm holes.Plant in the ground in the second half of May, spacing plants 40 x 40 cm apart.Grow in sunny, sheltered locations with fertile soil.Also recommended for growing in containers.
