Liatris spicata
A herbaceous plant that grows up to 50-80 cm tall, with stems ending in long, spike-like inflorescences with pink-purple flowers. An excellent plant for growing in various types of containers, perennial beds, flowerpots, and for cut flowers, which are very durable after cutting.
Sow seeds in April-June in boxes or on pallets. Germination takes 3-4 weeks at a temperature of 18-22°C. Plant in a permanent location from May to July, with a spacing of 20x30 cm, in moderately moist soil and in a sunny position.
