Gentian - a mixture of species for rock gardens 0.02g
Gentiana sp.
A mixture of several attractive, including little-known species of gentian, excellently suited for cultivation in rock gardens, low borders, and naturalistic plantings. Large, trumpet-shaped or bell-shaped flowers in shades of white, yellow, or blue adorn the plants from June to autumn. Sow seeds in April-May in boxes or on pallets under cover. Do not cover them, just press a board into the soil. Germination occurs within 20-30 days at a temperature of 20-25°C. Seedlings with 6-8 leaves should be planted in a permanent location at a distance of 20-30 cm. They require fertile, but not acidic, well-drained soil and a sunny or slightly shaded location.
