Common gourd KOBRA 1g
Common Gourd Cobra 1g
Lagenaria siceraria
An annual plant with stems that can grow up to 2-2.5 meters long, producing pear-shaped fruits that are green with white streaks. Their elongated neck, slightly thicker at the end, resembles a cobra. The mature fruits, harvested in autumn, retain their decorative value until late spring, making them an attractive decorative element in indoor spaces. Sow seeds in April, preferably under cover in pots with a diameter of 8-10 cm, or directly in the ground in early May, at a depth of 2-3 cm, with 2-3 seeds in each spot. Grow with support, in open ground or in a plastic tunnel, with a spacing of 80-100 cm. Plants require fertile, warm, moist soil and a sunny, wind-protected location.
