Cucurbita maxima
An annual plant with climbing or trailing stems, producing unique fruits in terms of shape and color. The fruits are harvested in autumn and retain their decorative value until spring. Uses: for covering arbors, fences as a ground cover plant, and the fruits for dry compositions. Sow seeds directly into the ground, 2-3 seeds per spot spaced 50-70 cm apart. Germination occurs after 10-14 days. Cultivate in fertile, not too dry soil in a sunny location.
