Small Spoon Decorative Pumpkin 1g
Cucurbita pepo
Annual plant with climbing or creeping stems, perfect for covering arbors, fences or as a ground cover. In late summer and autumn, small, two-tone fruits with lighter vertical stripes appear. The pumpkin-shaped fruit has an elongated, straight or slightly curved "neck" and the flesh can be scooped out to create decorative ornaments. The fruits are harvested in autumn before the first frost and retain their decorative value until late spring, making them an attractive decorative element in indoor spaces.
Sow seeds directly into the ground in May, 2-3 seeds per spot spaced 50-70cm apart. Germination occurs after 10-14 days. Grow in fertile, not too dry soil, in a sunny location.
