Brazilian raisin 0.2g (Physalis peruviana)
An annual plant, up to 1 m tall, strongly branched with stiff stems and numerous orange berries appearing in the second half of summer, covered with inflated parchment-like husks. The sweet-tart, aromatic fruits are edible raw or in processed form, while when dried at 40 degrees C, they resemble raisins. Seeds should be sown at the end of March in boxes or on pallets under cover. Germination occurs after 2-3 weeks at a temperature of 16-22 degrees C. Seedlings should be transplanted in the second half of May with a spacing of 40x30-50. It is best to cultivate it in sunny, sheltered places, on fertile, permeable soil.
