
Watermelon Kawon ROSARIO F1 1g (Citrullus lanatus)
Information from the producer: The first Polish heterozygous (see "Plant-Place Glossary" below) Kawon variety: early, perfectly tolerates unfavorable Polish climatic conditions. It also sets fruit in lower temperatures. The fruits are quite large (3-4 kg) with dark green skin. The flesh is very juicy and very sweet, dark pink-red. Recommended for cultivation both under cover and in the ground. Sow seeds at the end of April or beginning of May in pots with a diameter of 7-8 cm, in rooms at a temperature of 22-24°C. Plant seedlings with 4-5 leaves in the ground in the second half of May, with a spacing of 1.5x10 cm, preferably in holes well fertilized with well-rotted manure or compost. Grow in a sunny, sheltered place, on fertile and moist soil. Harvesting of fruits begins in August and lasts until September. Ripe fruits make a dull sound when tapped.
