Latin name: Allium fistulosum
A perennial plant. The scallion is used. Sow in April in a seedbed or nursery. Transplant seedlings to the ground in June. It can also be sown directly into the ground from spring to mid-July in rows 30 cm apart, then thinned to 20 cm apart.
