An annual plant with exceptionally attractive, full, needle-like orange flowers. Plants grow up to 50-70 cm tall and bloom from June to late autumn. Sow seeds directly into the ground in April-May. Germination takes 7-10 days. Thin out seedlings, leaving 20-25 cm spacing. Prefers a sunny location and moderately fertile, moderately moist soil. Grown as a border plant and for cut flowers.
