Butternut Squash
Cucurbia moschata
An annual plant that grows vigorously with trailing or climbing stems using tendrils. The fruit, resembling a bell shape with an elongated upper part, appears in late summer. It is filled with non-fibrous, firm flesh that is exceptionally tasty and fragrant. In our conditions, butternut squash should only be grown from seedlings. Sow the seeds in pots in the second half of April. Plant the seedlings in the ground in the second half of May with a spacing of 1 x 1 m. Grow in a sunny location with fertile, moist soil.
Package
On the back of each package there is information about the description of the plant, the weight or quantity of seeds, the sowing date of the seeds from a given batch and tips on growing the plant.
On each package there is also information that "The packaging serves as evidence for the complaint". When opening the packaging, remember not to cut off or tear off important parts that contain information on it - e.g. batch numbers, sowing dates, etc.
