An annual plant. Contains essential oils, tannins, mineral salts, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), and carotene. Has digestive juice properties. MARJORAM requires fertile soil rich in calcium, a warm and sunny location. Can be grown by direct sowing or from previously prepared seedlings.
