Helichrysum br. monstrosum
An annual plant with an upright, weakly hairy stem and lanceolate leaves. The flower heads are large, full, with a diameter of 6-8 cm, and are set on long stalks. The bracts of the flower head are dry, bent inward, and come in various colors. The plant is suitable for flower beds, but is mainly grown for cut flowers for drying. Cut the flowers when they are in the closed bud phase. Sow seeds in March-April under cover or in April-May directly into the ground. Plant in its permanent position in May. Blooms from July to October. It likes fertile, well-drained, moderately moist soils.
