Information from the seed producer: An annual plant characterized by a compact or semi-spreading growth habit.It has stiff, straight stems topped with full flower clusters.Typical of this group of asters are strongly elongated tubular flowers filling the center of the flower head and ray flowers arranged in whorls.The stately flower clusters are perfect for cutting.The flowers stay fresh for a long time in a vase.They also add beauty to fall flower beds.They prefer fertile, moderately moist soil.
