Mentha pulegium
A perennial plant that grows to a height of about 30-40 cm. It produces dark green, very small leaves and lilac inflorescences, and is distinguished from other mints by its unique aroma. Pennyroyal leaves are harvested for drying before the plants begin to bloom and are used in cooking for sauces and desserts.
Sow under cover in April or in the ground in May. Before sowing, the seeds should be placed in the refrigerator for 7 days. Then sow the seeds, providing them with a temperature of about 25 degrees Celsius. Germination takes 2-3 weeks. Plant in a spacing of 40x40 cm.
