Tapir Zucchini Cucurbita pepo var. Giromontina
A variety of zucchini with long, cylindrical fruits. The skin has light green stripes and a marbled appearance. It is an excellent addition to ratatouille and tastes good when fried and suitable for preserving. Sow in pots in April or directly into the ground after May 15th, with 2-3 seeds in one spot. After germination, thin out leaving one plant. The growing period is about 70-80 days.
