'FLAME' Early Variety Popping Corn
Latin name:
This variety has orange kernels with a very good popping ability. Plants grow up to 160 cm tall and do not bush out. Cobs can reach up to 12 cm in length. They should be harvested when the seeds are fully mature and the outer husks are dry. The kernels have a good popping ability at a moisture level of around 12%. This variety has a medium yield and prefers warm, sunny locations with fertile soil.
